My Memories

Recently, missing the time that has lost. Sometimes, just day dreaming and remembering those time when the innocence and romance and a young life that is full of power to conquer the world. Remembering the friends who have shared my happiness with a light laughter, who have felt my sadness and short failings, and even those who have hurt my pride and tainted my dignity just to feed their self centered dream worlds, I miss those time, --- a time of growing pain. No regrets, --- just like Sinatra sang, too few to mention, and I still live on the life that I choose willfully and I have done decisions best to my knowledge, best to my emotion, the best that I can be at that moment of decision. So, there is not much to regret. Yet, I miss those days --- certain days --- and I cherish my memories of those youthful days. (Upon my request, a friend of mine copied the lyrics of the song "Memory" for me, a long time ago.) Thank you all for being a part of my memories. Wishing you all the best......

Lyrics:

Memory
Barbra Streisand

Midnight
Not a sound from the pavement
Has the moon lost her memory?
She is smiling alone
In the lamplight
The withered leaves collect at my feet
And the wind begins to moan
Memory
All alone in the moonlight
I can dream of the old days
Life was beautiful then
I remember the time I knew what happiness was
Let the memory live again
Every streetlamp
Seems to beat a fatalistic warning
Someone mutters
And the streetlamp gutters
And soon it will be morning
Daylight
I must wait for the sunrise
I must think of a new life
And I mustn't give in
When the dawn comes
Tonight will be a memory too
And a new day will begin
Burnt out ends of smoky days
The stale cold smell of morning
A streetlamp dies, another night is over
Another day is dawning
Touch me
It's so easy to leave me
All alone with the memory
Of my days in the sun
If you touch me
You'll understand what happiness is
Look
A new day has begun
