We are missing one eight.
Still, it will be 888,
on this coming Friday,
which is only a few days away.
20 years seems so fast,
but a lot of lives have sacrificed.
Along the way---
the way to fight for the freedom,
It is paved by the lives of the fallen heroes.
They didn't sacrifice for this kind of life,
The present day, right now, where the lives are
poorer and harsher than even had been.
Along the way---
General Aung San's Military is non existent,
General Aung San's Daughter is mistreated,
General Aung San's words are unavailable to the public,
He is cut off from the people,
The people that he gave his life for.
Along the way---
During the protests,
Generations of students have killed,
Foreigner has been gun down,
People have gave their lives,
Different tribes of the country have been wiped out.
Even the blood of the monks have stained the roads of the Buddhist country.
What has happened along this empty way???

The way of Greed and Power,
The Power holders are afraid of the massacre that they have committed,
They are haunted by the sins that they have tainted with,
They are afraid of July anniversary,
They are afraid of August anniversary,
They will be afraid of September anniversary ---
pretty soon they will be afraid of everyday, every minute, and every second of their life.
Living in a luxurious shell.
The shell of the sin,
Be the prisoners of their own power,
Built with the tears and blood of the people.
