Freedom to live, freedom to grow;
Freedom to speak of, and freedom to know;
Knowledge of the truth is
a true knowledge,
which has been lacking
in the toughest grip.
The grip to the greed,
the grip to the power,
the grip to the little things;
that has drawn many lives under darkest clouded cover.
Many heroes have given their lives,
Many mothers have given their hearts,
Many sons have given their fathers,
for the sake of the voice of awaken.
Awaken to choose, awaken to lose,
Awaken to learn, and awaken to earn,
To earn the life
that can bear
(we are asking nothing much---)
just the basic food, shelter, and something to wear.
