Disturbing Time

I have bowed never to discuss politic and religion. Now, what is happening in Myanmar, the combination of politic and religion, has disturbed my thoughts significantly. I have felt this frustration, feeling of helplessness, all my life while living in Myanmar long ago. I am still--- now feeling the frustration and helplessness all over again. I do not understand why. Why??? Why the dictators have to ruthlessly kill and torture people in each and every incidents in the history? Why we, Myanmar, people always just have to protest and die? (If we can see some master minded plan with the vision and mission, something like in the movie "Ocean Eleven", in throwing over the dictatorship, it would be nice. We had "Ye-paw thone gyate" in colonial time. I would love to hear a "Min-ko-naing Fifteen" or something like that.) I am tired of seeing the news like "Myanmar people fight for human rights, and the world is watching". The world is watching??? --- watching for what??? --- watching to see the people got tortured and die again and again??? I guess it is so true that freedom is not free. Freedom comes with the responsibilities and the sacrifice of thousands of lives of innocent frustrated people, great leaders, courageous knights, brave heroes, and in this case in Myanmar, it is even the sacrifice of revered monks. And it is very pathetic to hear the military dictators are saying with the excuse of "to keep peace and order in the country" in killing the people. If they really want to keep peace and order, it is very simple, stop the genocide, and gracefully step down and let go of the power. As simple as that.
