Lyrics
The September Of My Years
One day you turn around, and it's summer.
Next day you turn around, and its fall.
And the springs and the winters of a life time,
whatever happened to them all?
As a man who has always had the wandering ways,
now I'm reaching back for yesterdays,
till' a long forgotten love appears.
And I find that I'm sighing softly as I near, September.
The warm September of my years.
As a man, who has never paused at wishing wells,
now I'm watching children carousels.
And their laughter's music to my ears.
And I find that I'm smiling gently as I near,September.
The warm September of my years.
The golden, warm September of My Years.....
September reminds me of one of the greatest singers, Frank Sinatra and his mind blowing album, "September of my years", released in 1965. I cannot possibly describe how much I love to listen Sinatra. He is the legend, idol, the best of the best. This is the site where you can sample this amazing September songs

Here is the review done by Stan Cornyn in 1965 for the album, "September of my years."
"---He sings of the penny days.
Of the rose-lipt girls and candy apple times.
Of green winds, of a first lass
who had perfumed hair.
April thoughts.
He sings with perspective.
This vital man, this archetype of the good life,
this idolized star ...this man pauses.
He looks back. He remeber,
and graces his memory with a poet's vision.
He has lived enough for two lives,
and can sing now of September.
Of the bruising days.
Of the rouged lips and bourbon times.
Of chill winds,
Of forgotten ladies who ride in limousines.
September can be an attitude or an age or a wistful reality.
For this man, it is a time of love. A time to sing.
A thousand days hath September."
