Road to Recovery

I want to crawl out of this sadness.
I want to zip through this loneliness.
I want to get over this endless rain.

I am loosing friends --- one by one.
I am getting older --- year by year.
I am living a wonder --- second by second.

I am picking up the pieces of sorrow today.
So that I can forget the pains of yesterdays.
To live up to the promise of tomorrows.

I want to be
on the road to recovery.
Will I accompany me?
