New Year 2010

New Year is any minute now, instantaneously all over the world.
Wishing you all the happiness and the peaceful days to come.

Vow

The last of the one digit year.
We celebrated 2000 new year with huge festivities;
That was 9 years ago.
It seems like yesteryear.
With much worries, we swam across 2009.
2010 is known to be the year of greed.
The year of Tiger;
Full of energy to revitalize our soul.
I vowed to meditate more to be able to check mate on
my never ending greed and temptations;
in this United States of Optimism.

I saw the light.
Dim then brighter.
I saw a seedling.
Pale then greener.
